A STONE masonry firm in York is expanding following a six-figure funding package from HSBC.

J Rotherham Masonry was established in 1927 and specialises in traditional stone masonry, from stone fireplaces to bespoke kitchen worktops and natural stone flooring.

The firm is expanding its premises in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor. The investment in the premises from HSBC will allow the firm to expand its manufacturing facility and means that J Rotherham expects to grow its revenue by 20 per cent over the next 12 months.

Matt Rotherham, managing director at J Rotherham Masonry, said: “Robotic production means we can be more innovative, introduce new possibilities for stone surfaces and continue to provide high quality stone surfaces to our increasing number of customers.”
