Agent with strong credentials
JULIETTE HEALEY became the agent for Yorkshire and the Humber in 2012.
She has worked at the Bank for most of her career, apart from two secondments, one to HM Treasury and one to the International Monetary Fund, in Washington DC.
She has done a wide variety of jobs, most relating to monetary policy and financial markets. She has also carried out roles linked to press and parliamentary affairs and technical assistance to overseas central banks.
She comes from a family of engineers and business people and studied mathematics at university.
Ms Healey has been a longstanding judge for The Yorkshire Post’s Excellence in Business Awards.
