The Na­tional Col­lege for High Speed Rail in Don­caster is host­ing an Open Day this Novem­ber to give fu­ture stu­dents the chance to learn about cour­ses that are de­signed to pre­pare them for a ca­reer in rail.

Vis­i­tors will be able to tour the state-of-the-art fa­cil­i­ties, ex­pe­ri­ence the col­lege’s spe­cial­ist vir­tual re­al­ity and aug­mented re­al­ity learn­ing equip­ment, try the CAD/CAM soft­ware ap­pli­ca­tions, and even hop on board a for­mer Eurostar power car, as well as hav­ing the op­por­tu­nity to speak to cur­ricu­lum staff and at­tend a Q&A ses­sion with cur­rent stu­dents.

The event takes place on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 8, 4pm to 7pm at the col­lege on Carolina Way, Don­caster.
