Restless times proves popular
MUSEUMS Sheffield’s exhibition Restless Times: Art in Britain 1914 -1945 is on track to become the most popular show in the Millennium Gallery’s history. The exhibition is set to total a record 60,000 visitors by the time it closes at the end of next month. Coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the Blitz, the exhibition has brought more than 150 of the UK’s most significant works from the period together in Sheffield. Showcasing the development of British art during the war and inter-war years. The free exhibition runs until January 30.
