Rest­less times proves pop­u­lar

MU­SE­UMS Sh­effield’s ex­hi­bi­tion Rest­less Times: Art in Bri­tain 1914 -1945 is on track to be­come the most pop­u­lar show in the Mil­len­nium Gallery’s his­tory. The ex­hi­bi­tion is set to to­tal a record 60,000 vis­i­tors by the time it closes at the end of next month. Co­in­cid­ing with the 70th an­niver­sary of the Blitz, the ex­hi­bi­tion has brought more than 150 of the UK’s most sig­nif­i­cant works from the pe­riod to­gether in Sh­effield. Show­cas­ing the devel­op­ment of Bri­tish art dur­ing the war and in­ter-war years. The free ex­hi­bi­tion runs un­til Jan­uary 30.
