THE latest impressive exhibition at North Yorkshire’s Nunnington Hall opens next week.

Jane Pinkney, described in the 1980s as “the next Beatrix Potter”, kept out of the limelight until last year when she came across some old paintings and drawings and decided to contact the hall. She asked if they would be interested in an exhibition – and the exhibitions organisers at the hall almost bit her arm of. The exhibition of work, many seen for the first time, is on show from Tuesday, to September 18. Info on 01439 748283.
