Terence Rattigan’s romantic revival
A romantic comedy by Terence Rattigan, which lay unperformed for 65 years is to take to the stage of York Theatre Royal. Written in 1944, Less Than Kind had a slightly troubled beginning and after various rewrites was abandonned. However, when the original script was rediscovered the play was revived two years ago and now a touring production starring Sue Holderness, best known for playing Marlene in Only Fools and Horses, will be at the York theatre from June 11 to 15.
