Filmmaker turned debut novelist
RENOWNED filmmaker Tony Klinger has just published his debut novel. The former Leeds Met University lecturer has turned from the screen to the page for his first work of fiction The Butterfly Boy. The novel tells the story of Arnie, a young boy, growing up in Nazi Germany, who becomes an internationally successful artist despite losing the use of his arms to polio. A percentage of profits from the book will be donated to the British Polio Fellowship and Tony is now working on his second novel Noah’s Table.
