Comic on the perils of public speaking Blood Brothers on the region’s stages

Yorkshire Post - Culture & The Guide - - STAGE -

COMEDIAN Stephen K Amos brings his show Spokesman to the region.

The show looks at the growing army of spokesmen who crop up on television and radio, with Amos asking just who are they and exactly what qualifies them to spout forth.

The stand-up, who recently had his sitcom What Does The K Stand For? commissioned by BBC Radio 4, will be performing at Cast in Doncaster on February 20.

For more information or to book tickets call the box office on 01302 303959 or book online at www.castindoncaster.com. THE smash hit musical Blood Brothers will be back performing in the region, following a global tour.

Willy Russell’s Tony-nominated musical tells the story of twin boys seperated at birth, who are reunited by a mother’s secret and a twist of fate. In this production, their mother is played by Maureen Nolan, who previously took the role to the West End.

The show will be at the Alhambra in Bradford from February 17 to 22 and the New Theatre in Hull, from February 24 to March 1.
