The ex­hi­bi­tion is at York St Marys un­til Novem­ber 2. Most of the new works will be for sale. All pro­ceeds will go to the York Art Gallery re­de­vel­op­ment fund. ART by some of the best known chil­dren’s book il­lus­tra­tors will go on show at Nun­ning­ton Hall, near York.

Non­sense at Nun­ning­ton; A World of Whimsy Ex­hi­bi­tion is aimed at chil­dren and in­cludes work by Quentin Blake, Re­becca Cobb, Nick Butterworth and Gil­lian Tyler.

The ex­hi­bi­tion runs un­til Septem­ber 7.

Dur­ing the school hol­i­days their will also be fam­ily events, in­clud­ing out­door theatre.
