Peugeot hits the highs and lows
ANALYSIS of more than 20,000 Warranty Direct policies on three-to-seven-year-old cars made by European manufacturers, compared claims for repairs, and gave the top spot to Peugeot’s 207 (above). It had 6 per cent incident rate but its average repair cost of £332 was easily the highest of the top 10 models. The Renault Clio (fifth) had a 21pc incident rate and lowest repair average of £173. Bottom was the MercedesBenz SL (47pc and £742).
