Yorkshire Post - Motoring - - NEWS -

YOUNG drivers have the chance to get behind the wheel of a Mercedes this weekend at the MercedesBenz Driving Academy mini taster sessions on May 11/12.

The free driving lessons will take place at the York Designer Outlet in Fulford between 10am and 5pm today and tomorrow. Held at a specially-built circuit in the south car park of the McArthur Glen outlet, the taster sessions are designed for anyone over 1.5 metres tall who does not yet hold a UK driving licence. The 20-minute sessions will be given by the Driving Academy’s team of tutors in a Mercedes-Benz B-Class.

The free coaching will be allocated on a first-come first- served basis. No booking is required. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The taster weekend forms part of Mercedes-Benz Driving Academy’s approach, based on the principle that when it comes to learning to drive, one size doesn’t fit all.
