All in the line of beauty as Alfa adds a stylish plus

SOMEONE once said that everyone should own at least one Alfa Romeo; if you haven’t done so yet, the Giulietta Collezione special could be the one for you.

The Giulietta in standard form is primarily a car for those who like to look good. The Collezione special – which is basically a trim upgrade – continues the theme, only more so.

It is available in three signature Alfa colours; Solid Black, Alfa Red and Ghiaccio White, all featuring a contrasting roof as standard. The Solid Black models have a matt magnesio grey roof while the Alfa Red and Ghiaccio White models feature a solid black roof.

Inside, new black and red competizione cloth upholstery – not a reference to the 8c, say Alfa –with contrasting stitching and titanium finish inserts on the door inserts, central console and dashboard make for an impressive look as do 17-inch Titanium alloys and wing mirrors, darkened headlight surrounds and chrome door handles.

Prices start at £18,265 as compared to £17,760 for the basic 1.4litre Turismo. There is no change to the set-up or engines which number four – a 1.4litre 120bhp, a 1.4litre MultiAir 170bhp petrol plus 1.6litre 105bhp and 2.0litre 140bhp diesels.
