Yorkshire Post - Motoring - - NEWS -

ONE of only a small number of Triumph TR4 police cars commissioned into service will go on sale next month at Historics’ Brooklands-based auction.

The rare 4100 HJ was supplied as new to Southend-on-Sea County Borough Constabulary in May 1962. Eventually retired, the car was last sold in 1991 and restored it to its original police specification including Pye radio, windscreen mounted hand operated lamp, front and rear police signs and a rear stop sign.
