Sheffield sets pace for price recovery
Some indices show prices stagnating, but Findaproperty,com says that the average house price in Yorkshire is now £160,665, 0.5 per cent higher than in May.
Sheffield is looking increasingly robust. Asking prices in the city now stand at £140,506, an increase of 7.8 per cent in the last month and up 2.8 per cent annually. Prices in the city are at their highest level for more than two years.
Stock levels in Yorkshire have jumped by 7.3 per cent in the last month. Nigel Lewis of FindaProperty.com, says: “The return of price growth over the last quarter, combined with the continued level of affordability, has worked to boost confidence.”
