An innovative multi-million pound deal to sell 28 apartments at Leeds city centre scheme, Granary Wharf, for affordable housing has been completed by property consultants King Sturge.

The apartments at the mixeduse scheme by ISIS Waterside Regeneration have been sold to Chevin Housing Association with support from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), in one of few deals of its kind during the economic downturn.

Leeds City Council had specified the apartments for affordable housing at the development but they were considered a tough proposition to sell because of the downturn.
