Former mill which played starring role
Dalton Mills, the Grade II listed property that acted as “Marlborough Mills” in the BBC’s North and South drama series, is up for auction with King Sturge.
The Keighley complex has a guide price of £1.75m and will be one of 18 lots at the auction in London on Tuesday, July 13.
Dalton Mills is a collection of five buildings set around a courtyard and built in the late 1860s. What used to be a woollen mill now houses 17 separate local businesses, but there is 157,000 sq ft of vacant space ready for conversion.
