The short­list for the 2010 Royal In­sti­tute of Bri­tish Ar­chi­tec­ture (RIBA) York­shire White Rose Awards high­lights 17 of the best projects in the re­gion.

Res­i­den­tial projects in­clude Old Cragg Barn in Heb­den Bridge; the en­ergy-ef­fi­cient Pas­sivhaus in Denby Dale by Hud­der­s­field’s Green Build­ing Com­pany; Can­dle House by ar­chi­tects Carey Jones, part of the new Gra­nary Wharf devel­op­ment in Leeds; Water­man’s Place in Leeds by CZWG Ar­chi­tects; The Green­house apart­ment devel­op­ment in Beeston, Leeds; Ceme­tery Road, Sh­effield, by Project Orange and Heb­ble Wharf in Wake­field by Faulkner Browns Ar­chi­tects.
