Auc­tions bring in more than £5m

A strong de­mand for res­i­den­tial stock con­trib­uted to pro­ceeds of more than £5.2m be­ing gen­er­ated at the lat­est Ed­dis­ons Prop­erty Auc­tion.

At the two-day sale, held in Leeds and Manch­ester, 79 (70 per cent) of the 112 lots of­fered were sold.

High­lights of the sale in­cluded a va­cant for­mer farm and out­build­ings, in Wake­field, which was sold on be­half of Wake­field Coun­cil for £162,000 off a guide price of £100,000plus.

The next sale takes place on Septem­ber 16 at Leeds United Foot­ball Club, El­land Road, Leeds, start­ing at noon, and at The Fair­ways Lodge and Leisure Club, Prest­wich, Manch­ester, on Septem­ber 21, start­ing at 2pm.
