Interest on the rise across the region
Yorkshire’s property market is proving resilient against a backdrop of continuing national instability, according to Carter Jonas in Yorkshire.
Across the firm’s four Yorkshire offices sales, viewings and new applications have all increased in the last three months, compared to the same period in 2009.
Tony Wright, head of residential division in Yorkshire, says: “We’ve found that interest in the market, and sales themselves, have increased significantly over the last few months, with twice as many sales as in the same period last year. Across the region, property viewings have also doubled and the number of new applicants making enquiries has more than quadrupled.”
