Wave on interest in US property

Yorkshire Post - Property - - NEWS -

Property in the United States has soared in popularity, following the stream of negative US economic data that appeared in August.

Meanwhile, Portugal is leading the recovery among traditional overseas destinations with a 23 per cent rise in searches, according to the Rightmove and Moneycorp Overseas Property Index.

Poland is the top trending location averaging an increase of 12 places a month up the charts

Robin Wilson, head of overseas at Rightmove, says: “The surge in interest for Portugal has pushed it up in front of its arch rival, Italy, for the first time since May. Key regions driving the change were Costa Verde and the western Algarve, both up 45 per cent.”
