Clarity at last for property market

Yorkshire Post - Property - - PROPERTY -

Finally, clarity surrounding the spending cuts has been welcomed by James Farrell , chairman of property firm Strutt & Parker’s North region (Yorkshire and Northumberland).

He says: “Hopefully this will give some closure to the ongoing speculation that has engulfed business in the last few months. It is time for everyone to get back to work and get their heads down. Life will go on. It is bad news but it is what we expected and once everyone has absorbed it all, the practicalities of death, marriage, children, debt, divorce and otherwise mean that people still have to upgrade or downsize.

“The market is already realigning itself.”
