Good start and steady going

Yorkshire Post - Property - - PROPERTY -

“DESPITE rather gloomy forecasts early this year that the property market would remain stagnant, the situation in North Yorkshire has been far from it, as long as vendors trust their agent and are prepared to take their advice,” says Tim Brown, who heads up the Bedale office of rural property specialist George F White.

“We saw an enthusiastic start to the year with a strong return to sales, particularly from cash buyers. In fact our Bedale office in lower Wensleydale experienced record sales in the Spring and Summer particularly in the £450,000-£700,000 bracket.”

Tim believes the market wil remain steady at best through 2011, rather than improve.
