The pain in Spain may well be over
THE Spanish property slump appears to be over for Taylor Wimpey de España.
Managing director Javier Ballester is thrilled with the consistent up-turn that 2010 delivered and says: “After implementing a correction to reflect current pricing levels, demand for properties in Spain by foreign purchasers has increased.”
Tourism figures are also reportedly up across Spain.
This summer, the municipality of Marbella registered a seven per cent increase in hotel occupancy.
Taylor Wimpey España is selling new apartments in Benhavis, Costa del Sol from 232,000 euros.
