“We have been here 15 years and bought it because we we lived in Cumberworth before and thought we’d better be closer to civilisation,” says Mrs Garside.
“We love the size of the rooms and the gardens here and then house has a lot of character. The main part is Georgian, but the back of the house was two cottages from the early 1700s and so that has quite a different feel.”
The couple say they are selling “with regret” to downsize once again. “We are getting older, so we plan to move somewhere smaller,” says Mrs Garside.
