Sur­vey­ors set sights on city in the sky

A TEAM from the Royal In­sti­tu­tion of Char­tered Sur­vey­ors is hop­ing to raise thou­sands for char­ity by tack­ling a chal­leng­ing trek to Peru’s city in the sky, Machu Pic­chu.

The re­gional team con­sists of Jen­nifer Welch, op­er­a­tions di­rec­tor, RICS North, Cather­ine Hi­ble, busi­ness de­vel­op­ment man­ager, RICS North, and three lo­cal RICS mem­bers; Kevin Wood and Philip Wil­bourn, who are both char­tered sur­vey­ors, and Jim McGuin­ness.

They have joined a 15-strong RICS world­wide team for the 10day trip. Pro­ceeds will go to the RICS benev­o­lent fund Lion­Heart and lo­cally cho­sen char­i­ties, which in­clude Martin House Hospice and We­ston Park Hos­pi­tal Cancer Char­ity.
