THE most affordable street in Bri­tain is in An­gle Street, Burn­ley where prop­erty costs £32,400.

The town fea­tures heav­ily in the mouseprice.com’s list

Fern­hill, north of Cardiff, is in sec­ond place with an av­er­age value of £32,700.

The most affordable street in York­shire and the Hum­ber is Al­fred Street in Hal­i­fax. The av­er­age price of a prop­erty there is £42,200.

In sec­ond place is Guild­ford Street in Grimsby where the av­er­age price is £45,600.

At num­ber three is Ayles­ford Street in Hull with an av­er­age value of £45,800. It is just south of Hull City Foot­ball Club’s ground and south west of Hull Royal In­fi­mary.
