£7.7m of property sold at auction
PROCEEDS of over £7.7m were generated at the recent Eddisons Property Auction.
In total, 117 (80 per cent) of the 145 lots which came under the hammer at the two-day sale in Leeds and Manchester sold.
Tony Webber of Eddisons says: ‘This is an extremely strong performance. Investors are clearly attracted to properties which have sensible reserve prices and offer good value for money.”
Interest was high in a vacant semi-detached house on Primley Park Lane, Alwoodley. The property, which needed modernisation, sold for £158,000.
The next auction takes place on May 12 at Leeds United Football Club, Elland Road, Leeds starting at 12.30pm.
