House design scoops award
BRAMHALL Blenkharn Architects are celebrating after a house designed for clients in Scarborough won a Local Authority Building Control Award for excellence.
The property belonging to Frank and Amanda Robinson won in the best housing category. The design, attention to detail and great relationship between the architect and client impressed the judges.
Malton-based Bramhall Blenkharn was also highly commended for an affordable scheme in Rillington and for a private house extension near Tadcaster. Before starting their practice in 1994, Ric Blenkharn was a partner with Ashfield Architects and Mark Bramhall was a project director with Sir Norman Foster and Partners.
