ISIS Waterside Regeneration’s Granary Wharf development in Leeds beat the competition last night to receive the Supreme Award at the prestigious national Housing Design Awards 2011.

Its fourth industry accolade since completion in 2009, Granary Wharf includes the only threebedroom apartments in Leeds. The judges drew attention to the scheme’s high quality of public and private amenity space, as well as the larger size of flats, duplexes and generous private outdoor amenity space. Buildings include Mint Hotel, Waterman’s Place and Candle House. Judges said it was the best example of mixed use residential-led urban regeneration that they had ever seen.
