A GOLF day hosted by the Hollinrake brothers raised £8,000 for charity and local facilities.

The event at Easingwold Golf Club was a corporate and a family affair, hosted by Kevin Hollinrake, co-founder of the estate agency business Hunters and his brother Keith Hollinrake who represented Easingwold Golf Club. Their mother, Muriel, organised the raffle, which raised £1,000.

The proceeds will be split between Henshaws Society for the Blind, which has a college in Harrogate, St Monica’s Hospital in Easingwold and York Against Cancer. There were 25 teams and LSL The Bondsmen were the overall winners.

Kevin Hollinrake said: “It was a fantastic day and the amount we raised was phenomenal.”
