MORE than half of the population dies without making wills, which is why Leeds-based Ford and Warren have decided to make it easier to write one – with an online service.

Senior partner Peter McWilliams said: “The decision to develop an online will capability was driven by our becoming more frequently consulted by those having to deal with the loss of a loved one, and the aggravation caused by ‘do it yourself’ wills; which often do not have the legal effect originally intended.

Writing a will online using the site – www.quickon – can take as little as 15 minutes, the firm claims, and could cost as little as £36.
