STRUTT & Parker is holding another National Open House Day on Saturday, October 1, following the success of the previous event in March. Offers achieved in the past event totalled over £42m, with nearly 30 properties going under offer as a result.

The event allows people to visit as many properties as they like in one day. Participating properties are open to view between 11am and 4pm and buyers who are registered can turn up as and when they wish.

Toby Millbank, of the Harrogate office, says: “It is a really good incentive to put your house on the market and to get ahead of the pack in difficult market conditions. This will put your property in the best possible position.”
