Yorkshire sees ‘surge in buying’
PROPERTY sales in Yorkshire have seen an upturn over recent months, according to Carter Jonas.
The national property consultants’ Leeds office has had sales agreed on properties equating to around £7.5m in October alone. The team has also had the best half year (financial since May) for three years in terms of sales concluded.
Simon Wright, partner at Carter Jonas, says: “Recently we’ve seen a number of properties sold across Yorkshire shortly after coming on to the market. We haven’t seen a surge in buying like this for sometime and it shows that buyers are continuing to search for the right property, particularly at the higher end of the market.”
