Would-be sellers advised to act now
PROPERTY consultant Justin Dugdale of Yorkshire’s Finest estate agency is advising would-be sellers not to wait to spring to put their house on the market.
He says: “The property market is primarily a case of supply and demand. In January and February the number of buyers is comparatively high whilst the choice of property they have is quite low, that is until everyone starts putting their house on the market in spring. You can take advantage of this by getting your house on the market now.
“You’ll benefit from the restricted choice of property the potential buyer has. The look of the garden is another reason why people delay, but the garden does not change fundamentally until May.”
