Auc­tion sees sale pro­ceeds of £6.8m

ED­DIS­ONS re­ported that 101 of the 144 lots of­fered at their lat­est sale in Leeds and Manch­ester sold, gen­er­at­ing pro­ceeds of over £6.8m.

Leeds City Coun­cil raised £646,500 from the sale. These in­cluded a va­cant de­tached house in the Head­in­g­ley area of Leeds which sold for £454,000, more than £100,000 over its orig­i­nal guide price. A ter­raced house off Chapel­town Road in Leeds raised £192,500, de­spite be­ing in need of com­plete ren­o­va­tion. The for­mer St Pa­trick’s Pres­bytery on New York Road, Leeds, which has been con­verted to form 16 stu­dio flats and re­named New York Stu­dios, sold for £300,000. It gen­er­ates £39,720 a year. Ed­dis­ons next sale takes place on May 10.
