Mer­chant’s Court is star of auc­tion

PRO­CEEDS of nearly £6m were gen­er­ated at a re­cent prop­erty auc­tion.

Ed­dis­ons re­ported that 67 (73%) of the 92 lots at their two-day sale in Leeds and Manch­ester sold, many of which ex­ceeded their orig­i­nal guide prices.

A res­i­den­tial de­vel­op­ment in Brad­ford con­tain­ing 17 ten­anted one and two be­d­room apart­ments pro­vided the high­light of the sale.

Mer­chant’s Court in the Lit­tle Ger­many con­ser­va­tion area which gen­er­ates £99,960 per an­num was bought by a London-based in­vestor for £891,000.

A three be­d­room semi on Aller­ton Grove in North Leeds, sold for £170,000 off a guide price of £150,000. The next sale takes place on June 14.
