Flats perfect for Compo and Clegg?
HOLMFIRTH property developer Conroy Brook has submitted a planning application to Kirklees Council for a new retirement complex on the brownfield Prickleden Mill site in the
town. The application is for 46 apartments for the over-55s, complete with community facilities, gardens and restored mill dam. There will be a residents’ pavilion, house manager, guest bedrooms, and an area set aside for the residents to do their own gardening.
The planning application for this development is said to have been submitted following extensive consultation with the council and the public and a decision on the final design is expected by this summer.
