Dou­ble award cheers ar­chi­tects

MAL­TON-BASED ar­chi­tects Bramhall Blenkharn are cel­e­brat­ing af­ter pick­ing up two awards and three com­men­da­tions at the Local Au­thor­ity Build­ing Con­trol North & East York­shire Build­ing Ex­cel­lence Awards 2012.

Quarry House in Crop­ton was named best sin­gle dwelling and a de­vel­op­ment of 10 homes at Wal­nut Grove, Sher­burn, for Broad­acres Hous­ing As­so­ci­a­tion, won best so­cial hous­ing de­vel­op­ment. Houses at Col­lege View, Pick­er­ing, for Broad­acres Hous­ing As­so­ci­a­tion were highly com­mended as was St Richard’s Com­mu­nity Hall and So­cial Hous­ing at Swans Way, Selby, for York­shire Hous­ing.

Direc­tor Ric Blenkharn paid trib­ute to his staff, con­trac­tors and clients.
