Low deposit deal boosts Barratt
BARRATT Yorkshire West is celebrating after enjoying sales success in the last six months.
The housebuilder saw sales during the January to June 2012 period increase by 21 per cent compared to the same period last year. Barratt completed 288 homes worth £46m.
“This outcome provides solid evidence that demand in the local housing market is increasing,” says Sam Wood, sales director at Barratt Yorkshire West.
“One of the key issues for anyone buying a home is getting the right mortgage. What gives us the edge over other people selling homes is that we can provide financial incentives, like the NewBuy scheme, which means customers only need a five per cent deposit.”
