Satisfaction is... owning a home
OWNING property comes with feel-good factor, according to a new study.
The ONS well being report reveals that 80 per cent of adults who own their own property reported a medium to high level of life satisfaction compared to 68 per cent for those who do not.
Steven Lees, director at SmartNewHomes, says: “The results of the first ONS wellbeing survey findings are in line with the notion that a significant proportion of people in the UK still aspire to buy a home. It seems that owning the roof over your head will do wonders for your heart.”
