Agency foursome pedal for charity
FORGET the Tour de France – a Tour de Yorkshire was the challenge that colleagues from a Yorkshire letting agency were saddled with as they got on their bikes to help the homeless.
Paul Bridgeman and Daniel Bond, who work at its Ilkley branch, Ross Harding, who manages the Wakefield office, and Lynne Taylor, who is based in Leeds, turned to pedal power as they toured all nine of the company’s Yorkshire bases in just 11 hours. Their 100-mile route took in Wakefield, Leeds city centre, Roundhay, Wetherby, York, Ripon, Harrogate, Horsforth and Ilkley. The saddle-sore foursome raised £1,500 for the Estate Agency Foundation, which supports a range of charities that help the homeless.
