Yorkshire landlords top the table
LANDLORDS in Yorkshire top the UK’s rental yield league table, achieving an average yield of 6.8 per cent.
Independent research commissioned by Paragon Mortgages revealed that Yorkshire landlords reigned supreme in the second quarter of this year, having moved up the league from eighth place in Q1.
The regional spread at the top of the table is diverse, with landlords in Wales moving from sixth position to second, and from a yield of 6 per cent to 6.7 per cent.
However, landlords in the SouthWest have stayed put, staying in third place with an average yield of 6.2 per cent. The average yield achieved by all landlords remained at 6.2 per cent.
