Auc­tion suc­cess for best lots

PRO­CEEDS of nearly £4m were gen­er­ated at a re­cent prop­erty auc­tion.

Ed­dis­ons re­ported that six of the 95 lots of­fered at the two-day sale in Leeds and Manch­ester were sold.

Among the high­lights was a free­hold res­i­den­tial de­vel­op­ment site in East Keswick, to the north of Leeds. The 0.25 acre site of­fered with out­line plan­ning per­mis­sion for res­i­den­tial de­vel­op­ment at a guide price of £90,000 plus, sold for £160,000.

Mean­while, in Set­tle, North York­shire a par­cel of land with plan­ning con­sent for the erec­tion of four prop­er­ties, sold for £126,000. A through ter­race house in the Chapel Aller­ton area of Leeds sold for £110,500 off a guide of £85,000.
