Lock cottage tops auction interest
EDDISONS have some tempting lots at their next property auction and are expecting interest in a lock keeper’s house near Leeds city centre.
Lock House is a vacant threebedroom detached property in need of refurbishment, which is being offered on the instructions of the Canal and River Trust at a guide price of £100,000 to £120,000. A lodge at Farnley Park in Otley is also coming under the hammer with a guide price of £5,000 to £10,000.
More than £4m changed hands at Eddisons last auction, where 65, not six as reported last week, of the 95 lots offered were sold.
Eddisons auction is at Leeds United Football Ground, Elland Road, Leeds on October 25.
