Lock cottage tops auc­tion in­ter­est

ED­DIS­ONS have some tempt­ing lots at their next prop­erty auc­tion and are ex­pect­ing in­ter­est in a lock keeper’s house near Leeds city cen­tre.

Lock House is a va­cant three­bed­room de­tached prop­erty in need of re­fur­bish­ment, which is be­ing of­fered on the in­struc­tions of the Canal and River Trust at a guide price of £100,000 to £120,000. A lodge at Farn­ley Park in Ot­ley is also com­ing un­der the ham­mer with a guide price of £5,000 to £10,000.

More than £4m changed hands at Ed­dis­ons last auc­tion, where 65, not six as re­ported last week, of the 95 lots of­fered were sold.
