URBAN Splash is hosting monthly mortgage workshops at its Saxton development in Leeds.

Nicola Wallis, sales director at Urban Splash, says: “Making that first step onto the property ladder continues to become increasingly difficult for young people. Buying homes through shared ownership makes buying your home more accessible as some lenders require as little as five per cent deposit.”

Working in partnership with the Homes and Communities Agency, Saxton Gardens offers homes through the Government’s shared ownership scheme, which allows home buyers the chance to buy an affordable share in their home ranging from 25 per cent to 75 per cent, with the option to buy additional shares at a later date. www.ur
