There’s no place like home

RESEARCH has revealed that we are a nation of home lovers at heart.

An independent study, carried out for home-builder Taylor Wimpey, shows that nearly 70 per cent of people still aspire to own their own home, with one in three ranking it more important than getting married, having children or building a career.

Debbie Whittingham, of Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire says: “There really is no place like home for us Brits. Owning your own home isn’t just about practical benefits such as a secure longterm investment and freedom from landlords. Studies have shown that homeowners are more satisfied with their lives and happier than those in rented accommodation.”
