Yorkshire sales show confidence
THE number of house sales in Yorkshire is rising, according to the latest RICS housing market survey.
Ken Bird, of Renton & Parr, says: “With a strong finish to 2012 and busy January, I believe 2013 could be a fresh start for the housing market with several positive signs that hint at a growing level of confidence.”
Peter Bolton King, RICS Global Residential Director, adds: “Price falls across the UK have gradually stemmed in recent months and it is interesting to see that the amount of completed transactions are on the rise, as confidence returns to the marketplace. It is still very early days but there is some optimism out there that things could continue to improve.”
