Bidding high at Eddisons auction
EDDISONS report that 97 of the 123 lots offered at the two-day auction in Leeds and Manchester were sold.
The best performing lot was a residential development site in Bingley. The 1.58 acre plot, offered with planning permission for five town houses, with potential for a further six detached properties, sold for £448,000. The guide price was £350,000-plus.
Meanwhile, a residential building plot off Ling Lane in the north Leeds village of Scarcroft, which has planning consent for a five-bedroom property, achieved £215,000.
The former Oddys Lock House, which occupies a canal side location close to Leeds city centre, sold for £117,000.
