Bid­ding high at Ed­dis­ons auc­tion

ED­DIS­ONS report that 97 of the 123 lots of­fered at the two-day auc­tion in Leeds and Manch­ester were sold.

The best per­form­ing lot was a res­i­den­tial devel­op­ment site in Bin­g­ley. The 1.58 acre plot, of­fered with plan­ning per­mis­sion for five town houses, with po­ten­tial for a fur­ther six de­tached prop­er­ties, sold for £448,000. The guide price was £350,000-plus.

Mean­while, a res­i­den­tial build­ing plot off Ling Lane in the north Leeds vil­lage of Scar­croft, which has plan­ning con­sent for a five-bed­room prop­erty, achieved £215,000.

The former Od­dys Lock House, which oc­cu­pies a canal side lo­ca­tion close to Leeds city cen­tre, sold for £117,000.
