PUGH & Co’s first auctions of the year were a big success.

The residential arm of the business, The Auction People, had 45 lots on offer at Leeds United Football Club, where the stand-out star was the former garage premises on Victoria Road, Richmond, which sold for £140,000, more than twice its guide price.

Paul Thompson, director and auctioneer at Pugh & Co says: “Our Leeds auction raised a huge level of interest with some extremely competitive bidding. You can often sense which are going to be the big lots of interest and it is great to see the excitement in the room. From the rostrum it was great to see a variety of bidders from first-time buyers to seasoned investors.”
