THE county’s most impressive new buildings and property schemes are set to battle it for the 2013 RICS Pro-Yorkshire Awards.

RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) are judging a range of entries from small-scale community schemes through to multi-million pound housing developments.

Chair of the judging panel, Colin Harrop, Associate Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, says: “The challenging economic conditions have meant many projects across the region have been stalled or suffered cut-backs to their original plans. However, we’ve been pleasantly surprised to receive a high level of nominations.” The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Leeds on April 26.
